Learn how to plan, produce, and edit a video using library equipment and iMovie in this hands-on workshop. You'll be taught the basics of script-writing and storyboarding, shooting video, and editing, and you will, by the end of the project, complete a short video with cuts, transitions, text, and a soundtrack. Appropriate for beginners or for those at any skill level who wish to better familiarize themselves with iMovie, technology lending devices, and gain essential skills for both school and personal projects.  Mac laptops will be provided. Learn how to edit audio projects using the powerful, cross-platform, and free digital audio workstation Audacity. You'll become familiar with the software by editing together a multitrack podcast using pre-recorded clips. Appropriate for beginners but also for those at any skill level who wish to better familiarize themselves with Audacity while gaining essential skills for both school and personal projects. Mac laptops will be provided, but, if you prefer, you may use your own so long as you come to the workshop with Audacity already installed on your machine - http://www.audacityteam.org/download/ Instructor: Jason Evans Groth
