The NC Computer/Technology Skills Standard Course of Study which describes the progressive development of knowledge and skills in six strands: Societal and Ethical Issues, Database, Spreadsheet Keyboard Utilization/Word Processing/Desktop Publishing,Multimedia/Presentation, and Telecommunications/Internet is now online.

Two articles written by NC Director of Instructional Technology Frances Bradburn in the July edition of T.H.E. Journal highlight professional development aspects of the NC IMPACT Model School Grant.

The NCSU Teaching, Learning & Technology Roundtable (TLTR) hosted a panel discussion about GIS on April 15, 2004. Attendees learned how GIS is being used for outreach and research within multiple departments on campus.
