The NCSU Teaching, Learning & Technology Roundtable (TLTR) hosted a panel discussion about GIS on April 15, 2004. Attendees learned how GIS is being used for outreach and research within multiple departments on campus.

PowerPont files from each presentation are now provided on TLTR's website.

From their website:
"Ever wondered how demographic information on population growth would look if mapped? Have you tried to convey to your students historical, social, scientific or technical developments that you wish they could experience visually? This dynamic panel discussion on using GIS in teaching and learning featured presentations by some of the innovative leaders of its use at NC State University."
