Expanded Course Books on Reserve
Course ReservesTo assist students who may be feeling the effects of the slowing economy, the NCSU Libraries is expanding its Course Books on Reserve program. The Libraries will now provide at least one copy of every required course book, assuming that either the NCSU Bookstores or the Libraries has received notification of the assigned text by specified deadlines. The expanded program will make over 4,500 required texts available on Course Reserves each year.

The extended program will benefit students by providing ready access to required texts in the NCSU Libraries and will further the Libraries’ efforts to document the teaching and curricular activities of the university. Course books will be located in D. H. Hill or the four branch libraries—Design, Textiles, Natural Resources and Veterinary Medicine. Placing the books on Reserve makes them available in library locations for consultation by students anytime during library hours.
