The NCSU Libraries is pleased to announce licensed access to PsycARTICLES, the
American Psychological Association's flagship full-text journal database. PsycARTICLES includes full-text articles from fifty-six journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe Publishing Group.
Access to PsycARTICLES nearly doubles the Libraries' psychology journal offerings. Faculty, students, and researchers now have access to thirty-two journals formerly unavailable at the Libraries. All of the current subscriptions to APA published journals formerly available in print only are now available in full-text electronic versions as well. With coverage for many journals dating to 1985 and archival rights to subscribed years, PsycARTICLES significantly enhances the Libraries' psychology journal collection. A complete title list for PsycARTICLES is available on the
APA's Web site. In addition, the APA is completing a digitization process that will expand coverage for many journals back to the first volume. The size of the database will nearly double with content dating to 1894.
PsycARTICLES is available on the EBSCOhost platform, providing a common interface with the APA's PsycINFO and more general databases such as Academic Search Premier. The EBSCOhost platform also enables cross-searching across multiple databases as well as a visual search feature that allows researchers to search efficiently across broad subjects.
PsycARTICLES may be accessed through the NCSU Libraries'
database list or the
online catalog. More information about PsycARTICLES may be found at
APA. Please forward any questions to
