The NCSU Libraries now provides online access to the Journal of the AOAC International - a major journal and reference work for analytical chemists - from v. 83 (2000) to the present. We have the journal in print back to v. 75 (1992).

NCSU Libraries now provides online access to the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). NEJM has the highest Impact Factor in the general medicine category of the Journal Citation Report and has the second highest Impact Factor for all journals. The journal is published weekly and an audio summary is provided for each issue. In addition to original articles NEJM also has book reviews, editorials, correspondence and perspective essays. Full text articles are available from 1993 to the present. Registration allows one to receive tables of contents and Early Release notifications by e-mail.

NCSU Libraries now subscribes to Genome Biology from BioMed Central. According to its web site, coverage includes "any aspect of molecular, cellular, organismal or population biology studied from a genomic perspective, as well as genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, genomic methods (including structure prediction), computational biology, sequence analysis (including large-scale and cross-genome analyses), comparative biology and evolution". Genome Biology publishes a combination of subscription-based articles and open access research articles. Subscription-based articles include reviews and mini-reviews, meeting reports, methods, comments, and correspondence. In the 2006 Journal Citation Reports, Genome Biology was ranked 15th out of 131 journals in the Genetics and Heredity category. Genome Biology can be accessed by doing a title search in the the Libraries' online catalog or from the Journals List.

NCSU users now have online access to Poultry Science, the official journal of the Poultry Science Association. An international journal that publishes original papers, research notes, symposium papers, and reviews of basic science as applied to poultry, Poultry Science is an authoritative source of poultry information that is consistently ranked by ISI Impact Factor as one of the top 10 Agriculture, Dairy and Animal Sciences journals. Online access is currently available for the years 1997 (vol. 76) to present.
