Built in 1897 as an infirmary and renovated in 1959 and 2006, Winslow Hall was for many years known as Alumni Memorial Building in honor of the more than 300 alumni who died in action during WW II and the Korean War. After the new Alumni Center opened on Centennial Campus in 2006, the building was renamed after Arthur Winslow. Winslow was one of the charter members of the Watauga Club (Watauga Hall) (the others were Walter Hines Page [Page Hall] and William Joseph Peele [Peele Hall]).
