Where is the North Carolina Literary Festival?

The center of the Festival will be at North Carolina State University’s James B. Hunt Jr. Library (http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/parking).  We will feature programming in the Hunt Library on Saturday, April 5th from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, April 6th from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Additionally, author Lev Grossman will be appearing at 7:30 p.m. at Hunt Library Auditorium on Thursday, April 3; and Junot Diaz will be appearing at Hunt Library Multipurpose room at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4 (please note: this is a free but ticketed event. You can pick up tickets at Quail Ridge Books and music or get them here). There are also additional programs in the week leading up to the Festival and in downtown Raleigh on Friday night, April 4. Please check the schedule for all details.

Will food be available at the festival?

Food will be available to purchase at the festival on Saturday and Sunday, both from participating food trucks located on Main Campus Drive (participating food trucks include: Hibachi Xpress, Sarge’s Chef, and Chick-N-Que for both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, American Meltdown for Sunday only) and from the food court on the Oval.

A variety of other restaurants can be found in the Mission Valley Shopping Center (http://www.missionvalleysc.com/dining), on Western Boulevard, and in downtown Raleigh (http://www.godowntownraleigh.com/explore/dining). We respectfully ask that food be consumed outside of the Library.

How can I apply to be a speaker/reader/author/artist/musician at the North Carolina Literary Festival?

We are not accepting applications for participants in our 2014 event.
