Development Officer - Director of the Friends of the Library

Vacancy Announcement

• The NCSU Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of Development Officer - Director of the Friends of the Library. This position is strategically important to the Libraries’ mission and goals, and reflects an increasing need to seek support from the private sector, strengthen the Libraries’ public relations efforts, and extend the Libraries’ outreach and promotional activities. Led by a Board of Directors comprising donors, alumni, faculty, administrators, business owners, and other key members of the community, the Friends of the Library advocates and raises funds for the improvement of the NCSU Libraries. Supporting over 1,200 members, FOL activities and events occur frequently throughout the year and include annual recognition banquets, a book sale, and special lectures for the NC State and Research Triangle community.
