Reflecting on Results

For teaching, the process of reflection involves answering the following questions:

  1. (Method) What am I doing in the classroom?
  2. (Reason) Why am I doing this?
  3. What is the result?
  4. (Justification) Will I change anything based on the information gathered from answering the first three questions?

In the previous section, you discovered the answer to number three, now you'll need to answer number one and two. The following pages will discuss three methods for answering these questions. (The final section of this suite will give you the opportunity to answer the fourth question.) The three methods include:
