- Do you usually (or ever) follow routine ways of teaching?
- Are you aware of any routines in your teaching?
- Do you start your classes the same way each time?
- Do you end your classes the same way each time?
- Do you stand or sit in the same place each class?
- Do you call on the same students to answer questions?
- Do you tell the same jokes in different classes?
- Do you keep the same materials year after year and coninuously use them in your classes?
- When was the last time you actively looked for new materials for your classes?
- Do you think teachers should follow routine in their teaching and use of materials? Why or why not?
- When was the last time you stopped for a moment and questioned why you were doing what you were doing in the classroom?
