Selecting a Classroom Assessment Technique
Once you know what you're going to assess, the next step is to choose an appropriate instrument or method for the task. This section contains a selection of different "feedback devices" to choose from depending on your objectives and course.
Each technique has been scored based on the amount of time you can expect it to take from the librarian's, student's and post-analysis point of view. Techniques which require "Low" amounts of time are suitable for day-to-day assessment. "Medium" techniques should be used with caution, and procedures which are marked "High" might only be appropriate if you're conducting original research.
When you're finished selecting a classroom assessment technique, you're ready to move to the next section: Teach Class and Collect Data
