Banquette at The James B. Hunt Jr. Library

Hunt Library Home

When you are in the Hunt Library, you are working in one of the world’s most technologically sophisticated research libraries. The building is filled with spaces and tools that make it easy for individuals and groups to learn, collaborate, experiment, and create.

Spaces such as group study rooms, quiet reading areas, and learning commons are available for use. Because the building’s complex technology installation is still in progress, other spaces will be opened for use in the coming weeks. The expected availability of these spaces is indicated below. Watch for exciting new technology in these spaces each week as we receive and configure the latest equipment from our technology partners. Summary of Technology completion dates (PDF)

Library staff and Student Technology Advisors are available to provide help on demand throughout the building at any time, including in the Group Study Rooms. Request help from Ask Us via the touchpad located in each study room or via the web, telephone (919-515-7110), and mobile devices.
