Naming Opportunities
We are building the James B. Hunt Jr. Library in the middle of a challenging economic environment. The generosity of our supporters at this critical moment will determine the difference between a “good” and a “great” library. By naming a high-profile space at the Hunt Library, you will help define the face of NC State in this century and ensure your legacy at the university. Your generosity will help the NCSU Libraries strengthen its role in fuelling NC State's intellectual and economic achievements.
The Hunt Library is designed to be the best learning and collaborative space in the country, so there is a diverse range of spaces available for naming, each with its own function, character, and feel. Flexible, high-tech teaching and learning spaces will encourage the exchange of ideas, creativity, and innovation. Tranquil, elegant reading rooms will provide a scholarly atmosphere for extended study sessions. Lively, fun common areas will be hubs for student collaboration, work, and socializing. All of these beautiful, flexible, and well-equipped spaces will enable the Hunt Library to support the wide variety of learning styles of students in the 21st century.
The links below offer images, maps, and descriptions of our spaces. For more information about any of our naming opportunities, please contact Dwain Teague, Director of Development, at 919-513-7315 or dwain_teague@ncsu.edu. For foundations or potential corporate sponsors, you may also contact MaryBeth Carpenter, Corporate and Foundations Officer, at 919-515-7188 or MaryBeth_Carpenter@ncsu.edu.
