Lists of newspapers in microfilm
NCSU Libraries has many older newspaper runs in microfilm. Most of these
are located in the Media/Microforms Center on the
2nd floor of the West Wing of D. H. Hill Library. Those located at the Satellite
Shelving Facility can be ordered using Tripsaver. Please
consult the lists below.

Indexing
Most of these newspapers are not indexed, but you can browse issues for your
time period. Or consult a large newspaper index such as the New York Times Index. Once you know the date of a New York Times article, you can browse in other newspapers around that same date to see if it also covered that event.
