These article databases index journals, newsletters, books, documents, conference proceedings and dissertations related to education. Each database has a very different focus and scope, so please read the descriptions carefully to find the right database for your search. A proper search on most topics will include the use of multiple databases.

Citations and abstracts of doctoral dissertations at all U.S. accredited institutions and some Masters' theses and foreign dissertations. |
| Mental Measurements Yearbook |
This resource provides basic information (date of publication, publisher information, etc.) as well as full-text reviews of many tests. |
| PsycInfo (EBSCO) |
A psychology database which contains both practictioner and scholarly journals. A helpful resource for educational psychology. |

Sociology and related disciplines. |
| The Web of Science |
Includes Social Sciences Citation Index. A useful resource that can track bibliographies and citation patterns in the social sciences. |
