Electronic Journals

List of the Astronomy journals NCSU subscribes to that have electronic access. Please note that not all physics and/or astronomy journals have electronic access. This link is dynamic; that is it generates a realtime catalog search every time it is clicked and therefore represents an up-to-date listing of electronic journals.

Print Journals

Astronomy journals will be physically located in the QB call number range. Physics journals are in the QC call number range. The current year journals are on the first floor of the Erdahl-Cloyd (west) wing near the Reserves Desk.

Older bound journals will be found in the same call number range on the 6th floor of the D. H. Hill Library Bookstacks or in Bookbot in the Hunt Library.

Historical Journals

Features access to older (early 20th and 19th century) journals. Scanned historical journals currenly in ADS (Astrophysics Data Service) are accessible online. ADS also provides the following services: journal query for accessing scanned journal articles, proceedings query for accessing scanned proceedings, and observitories query for accessing scanned observatory/society publications
