Graduate Student Workshops

Building Information Skills for Successful Graduate Work

The NCSU Libraries is offering a new workshop series focused on key information-based activities encountered by graduate students while working on their degrees. The workshops combine theory and hands-on work for developing research skills.


Workshop Schedule: Fall 2009

Two half-day research workshops will be held on Friday, August 28 from 1 to 4 pm and repeated on Friday, September 4 from 9am to noon. Topics covered are:

  • Researching and Writing a Literature Review (Details)
  • Web of Science: Citation Searching, Analysis, and More (Details)
  • Using RefWorks to Find, Manage, and Organize Citations, Information, and Ideas (Details)
