The loan period is for two (2) weeks. If you need to borrow a unit for a longer period for research purposes, contact Data Services. If all units are checked out, you may add your name to a waiting list at the Service Desk.
Borrowers are fully responsible for the GPS units and accessories while they are charged out to them, and must reimburse the Libraries for any loss of or damage to the GPS units or accessories that occurs during the loan period. The total replacement cost for all components is $400. Borrowers will be asked to complete a loan agreement accepting responsibility for any losses or damage.
The GPS units will be cleared of all data collected when you return them to the library. If you want to do this yourself, use the Page button to go to the Trip Computer screen, and then select Menu -> Reset... -> Select All -> Apply.
Please fill out a survey when you return the GPS unit. The survey forms are available at the device lending desk, or you can fill one out online.
