SPOT Data Organization

Data are organized into directories by 1:250k quadrangle. Data in each 1:250k quadrangle are split into "East" and "West" tiles, with these then being split into tiles numbered 1 to 4 going left to right with 1 at the upper left (NW) corner. Image files are named in acordance with this tiling and numbering scheme (e.g. Ralei_e1 is the northwest quarter of the eastern half of the Raleigh 1:250k quadrangle). Each image file is about 25 mb.
