GIS Day 2009
NC State University is planning to celebrate GIS Day on November 18, 2009 in the lobby of D. H. Hill Jr. Library, 10am - 2pm.
How you can participate
- Submit a poster for the poster contest. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are planned. Submission details are below.
- Set up an information table for your GIS program or activities.
- Volunteer to assist.
- Stop by, say hello, and learn more about how GIS is being used on campus!
Poster Contest
One of the highlights of this year's event will be a poster contest. You may submit your poster of a GIS project electronically. All posters submitted will be rotationally displayed on an e-board. University Dining has offered some prizes, and other prizes are pending.
