Abstract:
The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Commission and the NC Center for Geographic Information and Analysis developed the GIS data set, WRC Game Lands, to enhance management and planning, citing and impact analysis in areas directly affecting WRC Game Lands. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission assumed sole responsibility for all updates to the data set after the May 1999 update. The current updates enable the user to identify all publicly-owned Game Lands managed by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission as outlined in the "Hunting and Fishing Maps for North Carolina Game Lands 2003-2004" publication.
