Open to the general public:
Sunday, May 18, 2008, 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
Monday, May 19, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Select from an impressive array of books ranging from best-selling novels and fiction classics to engineering, science, and humanities text -- all donated by Friends, faculty, and other members of the community. Books are organized into subject/genre categories that are easy to peruse. Special discounts will apply during the final hours of the sale. Proceeds from the Book Sale go toward enhancing the NCSU Libraries' collections and services.
If you would like to volunteer at the Book Sale, please contact the Friends office. Volunteers are highly appreciated, and contribute to the event by organizing book tables and providing customer service. We cannot consider book resellers for these volunteer positions.

Book Donations Welcome
If you have books that you would like to donate, please consider giving them to the NCSU Libraries. Upon request, donated titles are reviewed by collection managers and, if appropriate, added to the collections. If they do not meet the Libraries' current needs, they are designated for the Book Sale.
Donations to the Book Sale can be made at the Satellite Shelving Facility on campus at 2731 Sullivan Drive (near the intersection with Gorman Street), which offers convenient parking and unloading space. The Satellite Shelving Facility is operational from Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. However, because of delivery schedules, staff are not always onsite. Please call ahead to (919) 513-7190 to ensure that someone will be there to assist you.
For your safety and that of our staff, we ask that boxes not exceed 40 pounds.
Smaller donations of books can be accepted at the D. H. Hill Library loading dock, on the Hillsborough St. side of the building. If you would like books to be considered for potential addition to the collections, please bring them there.
