 Historical Note

Originally named "Engineering Mechanics," Enginnering Science and Mechanics was a multidisciplinary degree incorporating aspects from other departments within the College of Engineering. It was offered throughout the 1960s and the first half of the 1970s. Prior to the 1974-75 school year the department's name was changed and the following year (1976), the program was cancelled.
