The Division of Student Affairs was officially created in 195x, although E. L. Cloyd had served as Dean of Students since 1921. The Division continues today to provide "programs and services for students and the larger community to enhance quality of life, facilitate intellectual, ethical and personal growth, and create a culture which engenders respect for human diversity."
