<abstract encodinganalog="520">The Ralph Leland Cope Papers consists of materials for an <emph render="doublequote">Engineering 100</emph> course at North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University). Included are official letters, as well as quizzes, assignments, a School of Engineering placement report, and various articles about academic and professional development. Also included are materials related to freshman orientation, student advising, aptitude tests and scoring, and the industrial engineering curriculum. The materials date from between 1949 and 1955. </abstract>
