Contains agreements, correpsondence, grant progress reports, grant proposals, handbook, manuscripts, minutes, newsletters, notebooks, project outlines, project proposals, research project reprots, seminar announcements, study guides, surveys, and work contracts. The records document the academic and administrative activities of the Department from 1941 to 1991. Also included are records pertaining to the Institute of Statistics. The records are primarily the files of Professors Gertrude Cox, David D. Mason, and J.A. Rigney. These records have not been processed; however, they are arranged alphabetically by subject.
