The records of the North Carolina State University Judo Club contain their constitution, information on judo and tournaments, correspondence, information on national judo organizations, and other general information about the club, its members, and its activities.

The North Carolina State University Judo Club was organized by students in or before 1971 to provide an organized forum to promote the sport on campus, as well as to provide students interested in judo the chance to compete with one another. The Judo Club remained active through at least 1981, but disbanded sometime between then and the start of the 1983-1984 academic year. The Judo Club was reformed at some point, and was known to be active in 2003, but it is uncertain whether they remained active past that year.
