The Graduate Physics Student Association (GPSA) was established at NC State in or before 1969. The GPSA provides graduatestudents in the Physics progam the opportunity to interact with other students in the department in a social setting, as well as promoting collaboration in academic work. The GPSA remained active as of 2008.
The records of the Graduate Physics Student Association (GPSA) at North Carolina State University include information for new students in the department; information about conducting evalutions; general information about the organization's annual functions, including membership rosters, meeting minutes, and information about activities; and files on the Graduate Student Association, with whom the GPSA interacted. Materials range in date from 1969 to 1978.
