The North Carolina State University Entomology Club was founded in or before 1959 by graduate students studying entomology at NC State.</abstract>
            <abstract id="ref3" label="Abstract">The activities of the club are largely unknown, but they did produce an annual newsletter, the contents of which highlight the work of students and faculty members in the department, as well as provide other general information about the department and those associated with it (present and former). The Entomology Club remained active until at least 1969, though has since disbanded, or may have been replaced by the Entomology Graduate Student Association.</abstract>
