Materials range in date from 1957 to 1961. Historical NoteThe Clock Tower Investment Club was organized in 1957 and open to anyone living in or near Raleigh, though membership appears to not have expanded beyond individuals associated with NC State. Total club membership was not to exceed 24 individuals. Members of the club were required to contribute $10 on their admission, and $10 every month thereafter; money collected was pooled and used to buy stocks communally. Upon withdrawl or other separation from the Club, a member would recieve a portion of what he had invested. The Club disbanded in 1961, and the assets were divided between members at that time.
