Scope and Content Note

The North Carolina State University, Alumni Clubs Records include correspondence and news releases regarding local alumni clubs. Materials range in date from 1930 to 1964, with some undated material.

Historical Note

Alumni Relations (formerly Alumni Affairs) was subsumed into the Alumni Association.

The Alumni Association was established in 1895, six years after the first classes were held at North Carolina College of Aricultural and Mechanic Arts (now North Carolina State University). The 1986-1987 narrative and pictorial histories of the university were published under the auspices of the Alumni Association. In September 2006, the Alumni Association moved into the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center, built on the southern shore of Centennial Campus’ Lake Raleigh.
