Abstract: This collection contains the administrative records of the NCSU colony (chapter) of the Delta Upsilon fraternity, including correspondence, financial records, meeting minutes, notebooks kept by fraternity officers, information on the incorporation of the colony at NCSU, and information on the fraternity house and fraternity activities. This collection also contains some materials produced by the International Headquarters of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Materials range in date from 1974 to 1993.

Abstract: Fred Wilhelm Bonitz was a 1901 graduate of the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. The Fred Wilhelm Bonitz Papers contains correspondence, poems and writings, and copies of Bonitz's booklets titled "How's Your Navel?" and "The Vagaries of an Idiosyncratic Mind."

Abstract: The Zeta of North Carolina Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa records include chapter applications, application committee business, and correspondence relating to attempts to establish a chapter of the society at North Carolina State University, as well as materials related to the creation of the chapter and induction of the original undergraduate members in 1995 and subsequent years. The collection also includes materials from two Triennial Council meetings and some photographs of the organization's officers and ceremonies.

Abstract: Henry Emil Bonitz (1872-1921) was a graduate of the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts in 1893. The Henry Emil Bonitz Papers contains copies of a 1948 letter from Bonitz's son, John H. Bonitz to J. W. Harrelson and Harrelson's reply. The collection also includes receipts for board at North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (later North Carolina State University), which Henry Emil Bonitz paid in 1889 and 1890.

Abstract: The Wall Family Papers document the lives of John Nelson Wall; his wife, Frances MacGregor Wall; their son, John Nelson Wall Jr.; along with various members of their extended family, friends, and professional acquaintances, between 1900 and 1992. The bulk of the collection is correspondence written between the years of 1920 and 1960, much of which was exchanged between John and Frances from 1933 to 1949, during their extended courtship and early years of marriage.

Abstract: The records of the North Carolina State University Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi contain information on NC State's chapter, as well as information produced or distributed by the national office of Phi Kappa Phi. NC State's chapter records contain their constitution and bylaws, correspondence, meeting minutes, membership lists, financial information, information on officers, awards, activities, chapter history, and other general records of the chapter. The records from the National Office of Phi Kappa Phi are comprised mostly of publications, and also include official handbooks, constitution and bylaws, brochures, and other literature produced by the national office for distribution to all chapters; as well as some materials on conference gatherings, the history of Phi Kappa Phi, and NC State emeritus professor Wendell H. McKenzie's tenure as national president. The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 at the University of Maine to act as an honorary society recognizing academic excellence across all disciplines.

Pi Tau Sigma is the international mechanical engineering honor society, the purpose of which is to establish a means of fellowship and communication between individuals who study and practice mechanical engineering.
