| Abstract: | The John Campbell Papers document the life and research of John S. Campbell, a British native who devoted his life's work to tropical agriculture and tobacco. The collection features his research, experiments, and writings about tropical agriculture done in the early part of his career, as well as later work conducted as a tobacco executive in North Carolina. Campbell also taught agriculture courses at North Carolina State University. The collection also features a large number of reprints and articles in the areas of tropical agriculture and tobacco. | |
