Abstract:

The Roy Edwin Smith calendar and photographs contains a 1920 calendar containing pictures of the North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (now North Carolina State University) campus. Also included are eleven photographs of the campus, including scenes of the 1911 dormitory, Holladay Hall, the textile tower, Leazar Hall, Lover's Lane, and intermission activities at a football game against Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Roy Edwin Smith (1902 - 1979) received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (now North Carolina State University) in 1923.
