The Fred Wilhelm Bonitz Papers contains a letter to Mr. Webber of The University of North Carolina Press from Bonitz concerning his booklet entitled "How's Your Navel?"; correspondence with Richard Walser from Bonitz regarding Bonitz's writing; and copies of Bonitz's booklets titled "How's Your Navel?" and "The Vagaries of an Idiosyncratic Mind." The collection also includes poems and writings, some of which pertain to the Civil War.
