The Charles Romeo Lefort Papers contains the newsletter, "Seven Up" which was sent to a group of students who graduated from North Carolina State College in 1937. The collection also includes correspondence between Lefort and Dwight Durham, C.S. Gale and Hall Morrison.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>A graduate of North Carolina State College (1932), Lefort was Assistant Dean of Students (1932-1941, 1946-1947) and Assistant Professor of Military Science and Tactics (1941-1942) at North Carolina State College. He served in the Army's special services division in Washington and New York and in 1946 returned to his position at North Carolina State College. Lefort left the university to sell insurance in Raleigh.</p>

            <p>The Charles Romeo Lefort Papers contains a newsletter, "Seven Up" which was sent to a group of students who graduated from North Carolina State College in 1937, and who called themselves "the seven." Lefort received copies of this material because of his close association with these students in various student activities in his capacity as Assistant Dean of Students. The collection also includes correspondence between Lefort and Dwight Durham, C.S. Gale and Hall Morrison, members of "the seven."</p>
