Biographical Note

Robert Seth Curtis (1881-1962) graduated from Iowa State College in 1905 and worked on the Animal Industry staff at North Carolina State College from 1906 to 1928. He served as a livestock specialist with the State Department of Agriculture from 1942 until his retirement in 1951.

Scope and Content Note

The Robert S. Curtis Papers include manuscript and research materials with related correspondence for his eleven volume work, History of Livestock in North Carolina (1956).
