Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I borrow materials from other libraries?
Yes. If the NCSU Libraries does not have the materials you are looking for, you may order them through TRIPSaver/Interlibrary Loan, as long as you are an NCSU faculty member, staff member, visiting scholar, registered student or university affiliate. When your item arrives, you may pick it up at D. H. Hill's main circulation desk.
If you are an NC State student, faculty, or staff member, you may visit the libraries of the universities in the Triangle - Duke, NC Central, and UNC at Chapel Hill - and check out materials there. You can also check out materials at any UNC System library (see UNC Reciprocal Borrower Authentication) and at the libraries of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges - Meredith College, William Peace University, St. Augustine's, and Shaw University.
When you visit any of these libraries, please bring a picture ID. Make sure you know how to log into your Library Account. If you have questions about how to log in, please call 515-3364. Before you visit any of these libraries, you must first get a Cooperating Raleigh Colleges borrowing form or card at the Circulation Desk at D.H. Hill Library.
