On a PC in the Learning Commons I'm trying to open a PDF, but I get an error message, and my web browser crashes. What do I do?
Close your browser and click on the Startbutton. Then click on the 'My Computer' icon, which for Learning Commons computers will be labeled 'LIB-xxxx' where 'xxxx's are numbers.
Go to M:\Settings\ and delete the entire Adobe folder.
Log out, log back in, and PDFs should open. If you get an error message about Acrobat not being installed, or the machine doesn't know which application to use to view PDFs, you'll have to reinstall Adobe Acrobat from the Novell Application Launcher. There's an icon for it sitting on your desktop
