Can I put a hold on a book that is checked out?
Yes, you can. When you look up a book in our catalog and find that it is checked out, look for the link that says "Request Item." You will then have a choice:
1. Hold -- have the book reserved for you when it is returned,
or
2. Tripsaver / interlibrary loan. We can borrow it for you from another library. This option will save you time if the checked out book is not due back for weeks.
