About This Event

As part of the NCSU Libraries Special Collections Research Center, the Wolf Tales project collects the stories of the NC State community, past and present.

On August 19, 12-5pm, we invite students, alumni, faculty, staff, and all members of the NC State community to record your memories of life at NC State, and add your voice to the historical record of our community.  One to two people per session are welcome to drop in or sign up ahead of time for 10- to 20-minute sessions in our Wolf Tales recording booth in the Ask Us lobby of D. H. Hill Jr. Library.

Here are some of our suggestions for getting a good story going. We encourage you to use the ones you like and come up with your own!

  • What are your favorite memories of life at NC State?
  • Who were your greatest influences or mentors?
  • What groups or activities were you involved in?
  • What were your favorite traditions or events on campus?
  • How has your time at NCSU impacted you?

Stories will be preserved and shared with current and future generations, to tell the history of NC State University through the voices of the people who lived it. Wolf Tales recordings will be archived at NCSU Libraries and shared online through our Special Collections website.
