About This Event

Dr. Celia Hodent has a PhD in Psychology, and grew up playing a lot of games, including video games. Now, she is the director of user experience for Cary-based Epic Games, the company responsible for the billion-dollar blockbuster “Gears of War” franchise. She will discuss how Epic uses rapid-response research, technology and design to improve users’ gaming experience.

Following her talk, Dr. Hodent is conducting a workshop where participants will play and analyze video games using a user experience framework. Space is limited and registration for the workshop is required. For more information and a linke to register, visit /events/user-experience-in-video-game-design-with-dr-celia-hodent-epic-games.
