Christine Sunu has a fascinating background: after graduating from Brown, she attended Yale University School of Medicine and went on to write and use coding languages like Python and MySQL in her work. Now, she is the GE Internet of Things Fellow at the Open Lab for Journalism, Technology, and the Arts at BuzzFeed. She will discuss the IOT phenomenon and where she thinks it’s headed, as well as sharing her experiences about shaping her career.
In addition to her talk, Christine will also lead aninteractive workshop that explores IoT technologies with a focus on internet-connected toys and the potential available in connecting emotions and technology on Monday, September 19 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The workshop is open to NC State students, faculty and staff.
