Dr. Maggie Simon, assistant professor of English at NC State, will discuss how academics are using comics and graphic novels such as Alison Bechdel's Fun Home in the literature classroom and how comics are being used to reshape traditional journalistic writing.
Come early to view a show-and-tell featuring highlights from the NCSU Libraries Special Collections, including a selection of rare graphic novels and comic books.
