Richard Holcomb has a fascinating career journey. After receiving an M.S. in Computer Science from NC State, he helped start multi-million dollar technology companies and won awards as an entrepreneur and business leader. Then, in 2004, Holcomb changed course, purchasing Coon Rock Farm in Hillsborough – a sustainable family farm providing garden crops and pasture-raised meats. Now Holcomb is on the forefront of the “farm-to-fork” and sustainable agriculture movements in our community.
