Harrye B. Lyons Design Library
The Harrye B. Lyons Design Library supports the College
of Design and has collection emphases in architecture, landscape architecture,
graphic design, industrial design, and art and design.
The Design Library Image Collection is now available available through Luna Insight 6.0, a dynamic web-based digital library with tools for working with images. The collection contains more then 52,000 digital images covering art, architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design and graphic design. The image collection also has over 80,000 35mm slides, which can be searched via Luna.
Other libraries
at NC State hold materials of interest to design researchers, such
as the Archives
of Architecture and Design at D. H. Hill Library. NCSU students and faculty may also borrow
materials from the Sloane
Art Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Duke
University's Lilly Library.
