NCCS Data Web Sample Searches
To reinforce researchers' responsible use of the Data Web, each example emphasizes accepting the User Agreement. However, in actual use, a user should only encounter the User Agreement once per eight-hour session or as long as that browser window remains open.
Find organizations with similar missions from one initial example (or by searching the NTEECC codes).
Create a Sampling Frame for research.
Apply a Filter to a results list to narrow them on the basis of a range of a specific variable, e.g., those that pay any officer, director, trustee or key employee more than $10,000.
Use the Extract tool, instead of the Table tool, to run your search in order to download the results to Excel or other analysis software.
