Online Census Sources
Note: Not everything is available online, especially older materials.
American FactFinder (AFF) - primary access point for all Census survey data
AFF Download Center - access point for downloading very large amounts of data, e.g., all counties in the U.S., all blocks in a state, etc.
Census Maps and Boundary Files (TIGER)
Note that older editions of maps may only be available in print - in Raleigh, a complete collection of North Carolina Census maps from 1960 to 2000 is held at the State Library of North Carolina (phone, 919-807-7450).
Note that older editions of TIGER boundaries are available in D. H. Hill Library on CD-ROM. Check our catalog for location.
