About this Site

This site, Genomics and Proteomics Data and Tools, has been created to provide the NCSU research community with efficient access to a selection of the many genomics and proteomics data sources and tools available on the web and at the NCSU Libraries. Resources have been selected with the research and teaching interests of the NCSU faculty in mind.

Future Plans

This genomics site is a work in progress. Some possible enhancements to the site include:

  • The addition of a section on tools for genomic and proteomics research and analysis.
  • Expansion of current resources for sequence and other data.
  • The addition of links to relevant literature for topical pages.
  • Highlights featuring NCSU researchers and programs.
  • Features that provide or enable access to current news and information about genomics research, meetings, and publications.
