Allows you to search for foundations (use the advanced search function to really focus your search). Information offered includes contact information, EIN number, and general financial data.
Guidestar -- http://www.guidestar.org/
A resource that specifically sets out to connect people with nonprofit information. You can use their advanced search to locate organization in Raleigh. You will need to register to see reports. Reports include financial information, mission and programs information, and contact information. You will not have access to all aspects of the reports.
Idealist.org -- http://www.idealist.org/
An interactive site that connects people and organizations for exchange of resources, ideas, opportunities, etc. You can use their Find function to search for Organization in the area. You do have to register to see additional information on organizations once you search.
Insidethebeltline.com -- http://www.insidethebeltline.com/commun/charities.shtml
Offers a short list of Non-Profit Organizations in the Raleigh area. Entries include basic information on the mission or purpose of the organization, a logo, contact information, and a link to their website if available. This list is not comprehensive.
